What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. This is for all of you who feel miserable, are doubting yourself and feel like giving up. Please don’t. Entrepreneurship, doing anything that changes the games, is hard!
Innovation is messy, it doesn’t happen in a straight line. In all domains of life there will be challenges to overcome, and no amount of training and preparation will clear a path to victory; it isn’t enough. You have to be able to navigate ambiguity, and just keep going. The people who do are resilient are able to get knocked down and get back up; they see failure as learning.
This is being hard to kill.
Check out this quick video by former NAVY SEAL Jocko Willink, who’s approach to dealing with failure is one word: GOOD.
Bottom line: To be hard to kill is to be resilient, having heart and the ability of learning to learn so you can change yourself. It’s not the falls in life that defeat you, it’s your response. Be hard to kill.
