Hi, my name is Jorge Barba. I’m a 27 year old Mexican-American living in San Diego, CA.
I long ago discovered that I had a passion for novelty. Always keeping up with the latest, always wanting to know what’s next and more importantly what I could make happen.
I’m fascinated by invention, creation, imagination and the power of the mind that drives all human achievement.
This blog is my intention of exploring these passions and hopefully contribute some lasting value to the world.

- I’m the founder of the Stratige Group and head the client Strategy & Innovation practice at Digital Marketing Firm Blu Maya.
- My background is in computer engineering and have previously worked as an independent technology consultant for companies such as EF&I, Pacific Restaurant Supply, Tuni & G, Battaglia Enterprises, Hussong Freight, Larson Irrigation and others in the San Diego, CA area.
- I’m an INTJ and can understand why I think and write about strategy and innovation.
- In my free time I enjoy reading, playing video games, working out, playing team basketball and have recently taken up Ninjutsu.
